Bryn Coch is situated near to the close knit community of Clawddnewydd and the spectacular forest of Clocaenog - a feature that entices exploration. The dramatic landscape, known locally as "Cefn Cloion" provides the backdrop for this working family farm, which offers a typical Welsh welcome and excellent home cooking.
Bryn Coch was originally a set of farm buildings and in around 1890 one of the barns was converted into a house. You can still see some of the original features around the house. The name "Bryn Coch"means "red hill" and we believe that it was called this because red bricks were produced on the premises - made from clay found on the land. Our family have lived here for over a century and are the fourth generation to farm here.
This family orientated dwelling offers a peaceful and comfortable locaton. Bryn Coch has a family room and a twin room, both with en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, a radio and colour television. There is also a sitting room, with an open fire, available for you to relax in at the end of the day. The family offers you a typical Welsh welcome and excellent home cooking, using fresh, locally produced products. We cater for vegetarians.
